Automobile Market Russia

Around the world, Russia is seen as one of the most interesting automobile markets with great potential for growth.

Russland

With the opening of the Russian market to foreign investors, Russia’s automobile industry is exposed to increased competition. This calls for Russian enterprises to not only increase their productivity, but to also establish reliable quality assurance.

In so doing, outsourcing and the associated reduction of the real net output ratio are important starting points for Russian enterprises. Current statistics affirm this trend. Compared to the previous year, the industrial growth in the Russian Federation currently amounts to 21.1 percent for capital investments and 6.3 percent for industrial production.

An increasing number of OEMs seeks to profit from the domestic Russian market and is investing into assembly plants on site.

The legally stipulated 30 percent share of localization within the value creation chain forces OEMs to place their orders in Russia.  This calls for complete supply structures to be newly established.  The experiences Saxon suppliers have gained with regard to the requirements of the automobile industry permit the establishment of mutually beneficial, permanent cooperations with Russian partners.  This also creates excellent opportunities for attracting new customers through a commitment at the international level.
