Review: Workshop "Optimizing production processes with digital solutions and technologies" on July 21, 2021

Improving production processes with digital solutions and technologies – this is how we, as a network of automotive suppliers, support our member companies. In the online workshop on July 21, we discussed the following questions with the 15 participants:

• To what extent are digital solutions and technologies already being used in production? To this end, we jointly evaluated an AMZ survey on digitization in suppliers.
• How can digitization ideas and projects be implemented? AMZ provided information about the current status of the funding pot for digitization in production, the needs of the participating companies were collected and possible project topics were recorded for follow-up.

The AMZ member company imk automotive GmbH gave an interesting insight into how companies can optimize start-up management by means of end-to-end digital planning.

In follow-up workshops we want to further address “digitization in production” and support the supplier companies in the network.
