New member: Chair of Measurement and Sensor Technology at Chemnitz University of Technology

The AMZ network is enriched by a new member from research and development: Under the direction of Prof. Kanoun, the Chair of Measurement and Sensor Technology at Chemnitz University of Technology has been developing novel sensor solutions for many years. Current topics such as climate and structural change, digitization or topics from the field of IoT and Industry 4.0 are organized in four working groups.

Specifically, polymer-based sensors for different physical and electrochemical quantities are being developed, wireless sensors with independent energy supply or novel measurement methods based on impedance spectroscopy.

On the basis of impedance spectroscopy, new approaches to storage and battery diagnostics could be developed, which are discussed with experts from all over the world as part of the annual “International Workshop on Impedance Spectroscopy” (IWIS).

Welcome to the AMZ.
